59 PROFESSIONAL MASTER OF ARTS DEGREES Master of Arts in Chaplaincy Program Goal The Masters of Arts in Chaplaincy is designed to prepare students for ministries in various? forms of chaplaincy that do not normally require national faith group endorsement, rigorous, national credentialing and advanced employment requirements. Chaplaincy settings include paid and volunteer positions in settings including seniors and hospice care, crisis response, business, and athletics. The program includes a unit of ACPE certified Clinical Pastoral Education in a community setting. For some faith groups, it may suffice for ordination. Curriculum 1 Course # Sem. Hrs.
