56 Master of Arts (Old Testament) Program Goal The Master of Arts program with a major in Old Testament provides students with necessary competence in the Hebrew of the Old Testament and an introduction to biblical Greek, hermeneutics, exegesis, history, culture, theology, critical methods, and diverse readings in order to teach, minister, and write in a variety of church, parachurch, and other educational contexts, and to equip students interested in pursuing doctoral studies.
