7 DC Extension Hosts Reflection on Race and Theological Education This summer, the Denver Seminary Washington DC extension site hosted a series of webinars centered around the theme Reflection on Race and Theological Education. Guests included Dr. Ralph West, founder and lead pastor of the Church Without Walls; Dr. Rodney Patterson, Denver Seminary board member and CEO of the Learner's Group; and Rev. Dexter Nutall, lead pastor of New Bethel Baptist Church in Washington DC. Engage360 Continues to Be a Voice for Evangelicalism Engage360 continues to be a catalyst for a variety of discussions with diverse guests. We highlight the strength and knowledge of faculty, students, and alumni, while engaging topics and guests that speak to our biblical and theological expertise and are socially and culturally top of mind. Launched in September 2019, we have shared over 60 episodes and have well over 500 unique listeners and a 5-star rating on Apple Podcasts. A sample of titles shows the variety of topics we have covered including: Gospel- Guided Race Relations; The Sovereignty of God and the Church as His Agent Amidst Suffering; Keeping the Gospel as Our Primary Identity in Politics; Christian Apologetics and Atonement in Modern Culture; and Excelling at Online Teaching and Learning. Watch our In Perspective panel discussions and listen to Engage360 podcasts at denverseminary.edu. '' Engage360 has proven to be rich in both biblical insight and practical wisdom. It is a great resource for me, a local church pastor, as I continue to grow and learn... the voices here are trustworthy and wise, bold and winsome."
