2022-2023 Student Handbook 22 Usage and Operations Lost and Found Lost and Found is located at the Circulation Desk in the Library (303-762-6962). Items will be held for two weeks, and containers holding food or beverages will be discarded. Some items of higher value, such as cell phones, laptops, car keys, wallets, or purses may be kept by Denver Seminary Security (303-961-1184) Service/Assistance Animals Unless deemed a service animal, animals are not allowed inside campus buildings. For those with service animals that will be in class, please contact the Dean of Students. Pets Pets are allowed on campus but are not allowed inside campus buildings. Dogs must be leashed at all times per local animal codes/ordinances. Dog owners are responsible for the immediate pick up and proper disposal of the animal's waste. Public Space Usage Common areas on-campus, such as the Student Center, are not available for reservation by students. In order to meet the needs of the community, students using these areas should apply thoughtfulness and courtesy. This includes leaving these locations in as good or better condition than before they were used, returning furniture to its original location, discarding trash, reporting any problems or concerns to the Sr. Director of Physical Campus Operations, and keeping group noise at a reasonable level. Receptionist Desk The Information Reception Desk in the Graber Administration Center front lobby provides the following services: • Directions and information for offices, classrooms and scheduled meetings; • Directions for off-campus businesses and organizations; • Notary services (by appointment). Solicitation Solicitation is prohibited on Seminary property. This pertains to both commercial agents and members of the Denver Seminary community. The Seminary will not assist commercial agents in contacting or connecting with students and will not provide access to student information. Requests to promote an activity, opportunities, or products must be submitted to the Department of Student Life, and are subject to approval.
