He ministered as a church educator in Oregon churches, as the director of Christian education for the
Conservative Baptist Association of Oregon and later for the Conservative Baptists of America.
He has partnered with Mission Hills Church as director of the Center for Leadership Development and
currently serves as director emeritus. He gives direction to the student mentoring program at Mission
Hills and works with Denver Seminary's training and mentoring program.
