57 Master of Arts (Biblical Studies) Program Goal The Master of Arts program with a major in biblical studies with an Old or New Testament emphasis provides students with the necessary competence in biblical languages, exegesis, history, culture, theology, ethics, critical research, and global readings in order to teach and write in a variety of church and adult education contexts, and to equip students interested in pursuing doctoral studies.
