21 Denver Seminary Distance Education Program Students in Denver Seminary distance education programs will need to have regular and reliable access to a computer, internet connection, and necessary software in order to participate in online and blended courses. A full list of technical requirements is posted at http://www.denverseminary.edu/admissions/online-learning/. Students should possess basic computer skills as well as proficiency in online communication. The best way for prospective students to evaluate their skill level and readiness for the online components of distance education is to the take the Denver Seminary student readiness assessment located at https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/ET_student- readiness. CLASSIFICATION OF STUDENTS There are four types of students at Denver Seminary: 1. Degree-seeking students Enrolled in a Master of Arts, Master of Divinity, or Doctor of Ministry program. 2. Certificate students Students working toward completion of any of the master's-level certificates (10-24 hours). 3. Nondegree students Students taking master's-level classes for personal enrichment, continuing education, or visiting students who are pursuing a degree from another graduate school. A maximum of fifteen semester hours may be taken as a nondegree student. 4. Audit students Students taking classes for no credit. Courses that are audited may not be converted to credit at a later date, or applied to a degree or certificate program. APPLICATION DEADLINES Degree-Seeking, Certificate, Nondegree, Auditor Applicants (except international applicants and undergraduate degree exemption (UDE) applicants): Fall and spring admission: Rolling admission, applications accepted up to the first day of semester. Summer admission: Rolling admission, applications accepted up to the first day of class. Undergraduate Degree Exemption (UDE) Applicants: Fall admission: July 15 Spring admission: November 15 Summer admission: April 15 International Applicants: International applicants should submit all admission credentials by the following deadlines: Fall admission: April 15 (July 15 for Doctor of Ministry program) Spring admission: October 15 (January 15 for Doctor of Ministry program) ADMISSIONS PROCEDURES Applicants for all programs, including nondegree and audit applicants, must make formal application through the Admissions Office.
