The New Master of Theology Degree Offered Fall 2016 Denver Seminary announces a new advanced academic degree, the Master of Theology (ThM), beginning fall 2016 at the Denver campus. This 30-credit-hour program offers three concentrations: Old Testament, New Testament, and theology. Adding a ThM to a master of divinity (MDiv) degree is a great option for individuals looking to develop a specialization, deepen their biblical and theological foundations for ministry, and better prepare for PhD studies. Individuals with master of arts (MA) degrees in Old Testament, New Testament, or theology can apply for admission to the ThM program as well. For more information on the ThM program, visit denverseminary.edu/ThM. Blending Theory and Practice: Certificate Programs in Justice and Mission, and Youth and Family Ministries Denver Seminary now offers a 12-hour Justice and Mission certificate. When packaged with a year-long internship, this certificate program engages students in a transformative, affordable experience that blends theory and practice in a mutually enriching way. The internship is optional and can be substituted for additional coursework. Adjunct professors for the program include Jeff Johnson of Mile High Ministries, David Warren of Open Door Ministries, and Michelle Warren of Christian Community Development Association. Each of these professors is a skillful, experienced practitioner in the field. The Youth and Family Ministries certificate program blends solid biblical and theological classes with course curriculum geared to provide flexible and affordable graduate-level instruction. It appeals to students at various stages of ministry practice, including new, established, and lay leaders seeking initial or higher levels of ministry training to serve children, youth, and the kingdom of God.
