Email: helene.dallaire@denverseminary.edu Phone: 303-762-6916 Elodie Emig Ms. Elodie Ballantine Emig joined the associated faculty in 1988 and teaches Greek. She became a full-time instructor of Greek in 2004. In addition to her duties at the Seminary, she is also on the adjunct pastoral staff of New Song Church and Ministries and the board of directors of Where Grace Abounds. Ms. Emig holds an MA in New Testament from Denver Seminary. From her student days until she joined the associated faculty, Ms. Emig served the New Testament department of Denver Seminary as a grader and guest lecturer. She has also volunteered her exegetical expertise to Where Grace Abounds, a local ministry to persons who seek to understand God's plan for sexuality and relationship. She has written numerous articles on the Bible and same-sex-attraction. In 2016 she joined the faculty of Denver Seminary as Director of Training and Mentoring. She received an MA (Leadership) from Denver Seminary and a BA (Speech Communication) from Seattle Pacific University. Previous to her time at Denver Seminary, Laura spent her career in national industry non-profit management in the area of leadership development and training. She received awards of excellence from the American Society of Association Executives for the creation of national leadership development programs. Laura and her husband Dale served in pastoral ministry for twenty-four years, the last ten in church planting. She also consults for businesses, non-profits and churches in the Denver area. Email: laura.flanders@denverseminary.edu Phone: 303-783-3134 Douglas Fombelle Dr. Douglas Fombelle joined the faculty in 2014 as the director of extension education and associate professor of leadership. Dr. Fombelle earned his DMin degree from Bethel Theological Seminary, with an emphasis in family systems and church leadership, the MDiv degree from Bethel Theological Seminary, and a BA degree in philosophy from Grove City College.
