143 Laura Flanders Laura Flanders joined the associated faculty in 2005 as a Mentoring Director. In 2016 she joined the faculty of Denver Seminary as Director of Training and Mentoring. She received an MA (Leadership) from Denver Seminary and a BA (Speech Communication) from Seattle Pacific University. Previous to her time at Denver Seminary, Laura spent her career in national industry non-profit management in the area of leadership development and training. She received awards of excellence from the American Society of Association Executives for the creation of national leadership development programs. Laura and her husband Dale served in pastoral ministry for twenty-four years, the last ten in church planting. She also consults for businesses, non-profits and churches in the Denver area. Email: laura.flanders@denverseminary.edu Phone: 303-783-3134 Felix Gilbert Felix Gilbert joined the faculty of Denver Seminary in 2013 as director of the Urban Initiative and assistant professor of pastoral ministries. Dr. Gilbert received his DMin from Denver Seminary with an emphasis on leadership and preaching in 2017. He also holds an MDiv from Denver Seminary, and a BA from Colorado Christian University. Dr. Gilbert served the Ogilvie Institute for preaching at Fuller Seminary as a Micah Group Facilitator from 2010 to 2013. He also developed and implemented a lay training program to equip leaders for effectiveness in ministry. He also serves as the senior pastor of Restoration Christian Fellowship, a church he and his wife planted in 1999. He is also the founder of Restoration Christian Ministries, a community development corporation that serves the Aurora, Colorado community. He recently launched Restoration Christian Academy, a Christian school providing an alternative to secular education in the Aurora community. He is a professor of counseling and is a clinical fellow and approved supervisor of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy. He is also a member of the Christian Association for Psychological Studies, American Counseling Association, American Association of Christian Counselors, and Christians for Biblical Equality. Dr. Gingrich earned a DMin from Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary (now Palmer Theological Seminary), an MA from St. Paul University in Canada, and a BA from Carleton University, also in Canada.
