22 SPRING 2018 After completing his undergraduate degree in his hometown at Colorado State University-Pueblo, Daniel Martinez knew he wanted to pursue pastoral ministry but wasn't sure what his next steps toward this would be. Denver Seminary was an immediate option for him, and after doing some research, he decided to apply and began pursuing several scholarships. God paved the way by blessing Daniel with the Kingdom Scholarship. He moved to Denver in the fall of 2015 to pursue a master of divinity degree and is now in the midst of his third year, looking to graduate in the spring of 2019. He and his wife, Brooke, attend Bloom Church in the Washington Park area, where they serve as house church leaders. Daniel is also involved in Bloom's seminarian program. On days off, Daniel works for the Denver Public Schools District as a substitute teacher in several different high schools in the Denver area. SNAPSHOT Daniel Martinez SERVE
