NOTABLE News from the Denver Seminary community F.Y.I. Alumni News Denver Seminary alumnus Dr. John Chesnut was appointed as president and CEO of Wycliffe Bible Translators USA. He began his 3-year term in April and is the 7th president in the organization's 77-year history. "I am deeply humbled by the opportunity to serve as Wycliffe's president," says Dr. Chesnut. "I look forward to continuing to work with the board, our wonderful staff, and partners across the globe." Faculty Publication Ron Welch, PhD PROFESSOR OF COUNSELING 10 Choices Successful Couples Make Most books on marriage address communication and conflict as key issues, and then advise readers on how to fight fairly, since conflict is an inevitable reality and cannot be avoided. Dr. Ron Welch asks the provocative questions: Is it? Is every marriage doomed to one conflict after another? In this book, he offers a far more positive approach to marriage, outlining ten specific choices couples can make to minimize or even avoid conflict and increase joy. 20 FALL 2019 DC Extension Honors Its First Graduates Denver Seminary's Washington DC extension graduated its first two students— Pamela Creekmur and Tonya McCullough—in spring 2019. Pamela graduated with a master of arts in Leadership. Tonya was conferred with a graduate certificate in Biblical and Theological Studies.
