cleared for all pending aid.

Disbursements
Per federal regulations, loans will be disbursed to student accounts no earlier than ten calendar days prior
to the start of the semester. Institutional aid (scholarships, grants, discounts) will be disbursed to student
accounts no earlier than the drop/add date (ten business days after the start of the semester). Refund checks
will be mailed to students on the Friday after a credit balance is created on the student account. The
student will need to contact the loan servicer directly if any funds need to be sent back to the lender post-
disbursement. Loan servicer contact information and other loan details can be found on the national
student loan data system (NSLDS).
Right to Cancel
Students have the right to cancel any accepted awards at any time. The process will depend on the timing
of the request. Contact the Financial Aid Office for details.
